| Description: | Brooch of with a center of Cloisonne on fine silver with basse taille background (roll printed wood grain) in abstract design using vitreous leaded enamels with fine silver twisted wire and balls and glass balls on top, surrounded by small white freshwater pearls and then garnet, coral, hessonite, goldstone, carnelian, Swarovski crystal, peach pearl, pink aventurine, yellow jade, citrine, green turquoise, peridot, blue aquamarine, amazonite, lapis, turquoise, blue lace agate, amethyst, amethyst flakes, fluorite, and assorted freshwater pearls, and edged with seed pearls. Dim: 2 3/4 in. x 2 1/4 in. This was a collaboration with my sister, Karen L. Cohen, an enamelist. |
