| Description: | Brooch - Bead embroidery celebrating the year of the double Earth Ox in the Chinese New Year. The Chinese Calligraphy is the character LU which is for prosperity and was drawn by Angela Chang, a good friend. The colors used are yellow for the earth element, blue which is the best color for an Ox, and copper which is the metal of the Ox. I used glass seed beads, pearls, sunstone, lapis, Peruvian opal, and aquamarine for the embellishments. The yellow is also for being happy, as I had another positive health report. |
